Since 25 years, orienteering maps can be produced with OCAD. 14th April 1989, the very first OCAD map for an orienteering competition was used. It took place in Schneitwald (Switzerland). The map was created with OCAD 1, which was running under the operating system MS-DOS (Mircosoft Disc Operating System).
