The current OCAD 12 Service Update<\/a> contains a very interesting new feature\u00a0for map printing.<\/p>\n

The blend mode was developed to get better transparent colors on\u00a0the digital CMYK printed training and competition maps for\u00a0Junior World Orienteering Championships 2016<\/a>\u00a0and Swiss O Week 2016<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The blend mode controls how the underlying color of an object interacts with the blend color of the overlaying object.<\/p>\n

The new blend mode settings affect only the map\u00a0export to a pdf file. \u00a0OCAD supports the blend modes Darken<\/strong> und Multiply<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In Color<\/strong> dialog click the Blend mode<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

Set the Darken<\/em> mode for the color Purple<\/em>, Green over brown<\/em>\u00a0and Brown<\/em>.<\/p>\n
