Display one or multiple courses or show control details like the description or assigned courses. This is helpful if you need to make sketches and notes directly in the terrain regarding changes to the control placement, the control description, or even the map itself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Show legs in\/out <\/strong>to see which courses will have to punch a&nbsp;specific control and from which direction the runners will arrive and in which the will leave. A useful feature when it comes to the questions on which site of the object to place the control.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Auto-Select tool<\/strong>, that selects the control that is nearest to the center of the screen. Ideal to use in combination with GPS and the auto-center tool, to automatically select the control that is nearest to your current position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shop.ocad.com\/web\/image\/36867-1fff107c\/Ocadapp%20CourseSettingPanel.webp?access_token=a2ba3596-4ada-4c5d-8c17-58c7ee444a30\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to display the Course Setting Layer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the <em>Right-hand Panel<\/em> on the top right and go to the <em>Course Setting<\/em> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shop.ocad.com\/web\/image\/36873-26a77ae1\/OCADApp_CourseSettingPanel.webp?access_token=92d05201-3f2f-4441-9e1d-5034f07096d4\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that the <em>Course Setting<\/em> panel is only available for course setting projects. Then give the OCAD Course Setting Layer a try!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Course setters and Controllers<\/strong> can display information about controls and courses directly in the terrain. This is really useful if you are checking control sites and need to make sketches and notes directly in the terrain regarding changes to the control placement, the control description, or even the map itself &#8211; always supported by the GPS position of your mobile device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shop.ocad.com\/web\/image\/36871-f7767cca\/Ocadapp%20CourseSettingPanelInformation.webp?access_token=288faefc-a5fc-485f-9e48-634d6e1d2882\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Control setters<\/strong> also benefit from the GPS position of the OCAD App to mark control sites or putting out controls. While having a pile of controls in your hand, it&#8217;s probably more convenient to use a paper map.
