Fortunately this has improved since the last OCAD update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Freehand mode for tablets now feels as<strong> intuitive and natural<\/strong> as drawing with the Sketch Layer, <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Kd_ffinXkR0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>as you can see in this video<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For that,  you need to select the option &nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ocad.com\/wiki\/ocad\/en\/index.php?title=OCAD_Preferences#Freehand_mode%3A_Adapted_for_tablet_with_pen\" target=\"_blank\">Fr<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocad.com\/wiki\/ocad\/en\/index.php?title=OCAD_Preferences#Freehand_mode%3A_Adapted_for_tablet_with_pen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eehand mode: Adapted for tablet with pen<\/a> in the OCAD preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ocad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Tablet.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The OCAD Sketch Layer is designed for sketching objects on a tablet.
